Ted and Katrina

Katrina and her handsome Australian Kelpie, Ted, travelled from Melbourne to Los Angeles with Petraveller. Katrina speaks about Ted and shares the pet travel experience with us.

Katrina has had Ted since he was twelve weeks old. Ted spends two to three days a week on a farm and the rest of the days in an apartment in Port Melbourne opposite the beach where he walks every morning. Katrina says, “He has become very lazy, and most days he doesn’t want to walk in the afternoons.”

Ted lives with Katrina and her partner, Garry, and thinks he is human too. Katrina says, “He is very friendly with people and most dogs. But unfortunately, doesn’t like puppies annoying him and male dogs. He gets scared of loud noises, thunderstorms and aeroplanes in the sky.”

Katrina and Garry were relocating to Los Angeles for work and decided to take Ted along with them. Katrina was concerned about Ted’s long flight especially since he hates loud noises. She says, “I know that Ted will be very agitated and scared during the flight.” Based on a friend’s recommendation for an international pet travel company, Katrina reached out to Petraveller to manage the pet travel itinerary.
