Jessica and her four-legged family pet Zivita relocated from Brisbane to Los Angeles with Petraveller. Jessica fondly speaks of her pet and tells us what led her to Petraveller.

Jessica became a pet mum after adopting Zivita in 2011 just after she moved to Australia. She says, “I got married in 2014, and my husband and I have happily cared for Zivita and taken her on many adventures. She loves cows and horses and especially enjoys camping. She likes being around family and people known to her.”

Discussing Zivita’s personality, Jessica says, “She is a shy and sensitive soul. She is wary in new situations and cautious of strangers or objects she doesn’t see all the time and fears plastic bags.” 

Jessica shares, “We have worked a great deal on exposing her to new things and reassuring her about the pet travel. She has made great improvements. Zivita can have a little anxiety with travel but loves pet resorts and interacting with other dogs. She is loving and is a puppy at heart.”

The Papp family was relocating to Los Angeles, United States of America, for work opportunities. “I would never leave Zivita behind. We are a family, and that would never be an option,” says Jessica.

Jessica began her research on international pet moving to understand the process. She was soon overwhelmed with all the information online. Zivita made her long journey without a worry and is getting used to the American way of life. Jessica says, “Zivita is doing very well here in the United States and has already been on any hikes and adventures.”
