Petraveller helped Akhil relocate his family dog, Zoe from Melbourne to Toronto. Akhil talks about his pet with deep affection and tells us why he chose Petraveller for the international pet transport.

Zoe became a member of the Khare family in March 2019 when she was eleven weeks old. Akhil recollects, “We have always wanted a Boxer because of their personality. My wife and I, both have an active lifestyle, and it seemed a perfect fit. We had decided to get a male dog, but when we went to see the litter, wife and I were captivated by Zoe. There seemed to be an instant connection, and we decided to get her.”

Akhil describes Zoe as a very timid dog. “At first, she takes her time to warm up to you. Her first instinct is to be wary of strangers, but in no time, she will become friendly. She loves other dogs and is very playful. Fetch is her favorite, if you throw the ball, she will keep bringing it back for more,” says Akhil.

The Khare family was relocating to Toronto, Canada. Akhil says, “We lived in Australia on a work visa, and it was always a temporary venture. So, even before getting Zoe, we knew we were going to move a couple of years later. Canada is just another adventure where we see ourselves living with our family. Leaving Zoe behind was never an option because she is like our kid, and you don’t leave them behind.”

Akhil decided to take the assistance of an international pet travel expert to relocate Zoe to Toronto. He reached out to Petraveller to handle his pet’s transport.
