Zoe is a rescue dog that Marline adopted and made her a part of her family. Marline shares, “Zoe walked up to us terrified while we were on an ex-pat assignment in Mexico. We carried her all the way home, and after nobody claimed her, she was ours. We’ve had Zoe since she was about five months old.”

Marline talks about Zoe’s beautiful personality. She says fondly, “Zoe is an incredible dog. She is extremely sweet and gentle, especially with our boy, ever since his birth one and a half years ago. Zoe loves cuddles and running. She is very smart and picks up on tricks quickly. Zoe gets scared of some triggers like broomsticks and large dominant dogs, but she no longer has strong reactions to these situations.”

Marline talks about Zoe’s exciting world travels fondly. She smiles and says, “Zoe has walked and swam in the Sea of Cortez; she’s strolled down The Pier in LA, ran in the Swiss mountains alongside our sleds, and enjoyed fuet sausage in Spain. Zoe’s biggest adventure, though, was her trip to Australia, where she stared at kangaroos in fascination.”

Marline was moving to Zurich, Switzerland, to be closer to her family and was taking Zoe with her. International pet relocations can be stressful for pet owners.
