“Beauden’s enjoyed his Melbourne life with all his friends and adventures.”
As the COVID-19 pandemic gripped the whole world, Petraveller took up the challenge of relocating handsome Miniature Schnauzer Beauden from Brisbane to Auckland. Read more to know about their pet relocation story.
Kiwi-born Rochelle bought Beauden when he was eight weeks old in New Zealand. When he was eight months old, the Rodrigues family decided to move to Melbourne. She shares, “We got to fly on the same flight and got him just a couple of hours after landing. He’s enjoyed his Melbourne life”.
Rochelle talks about Beauden’s temperament and says, “He is wary of people he doesn’t know, but usually doesn’t take too long to warm up. He will bark if someone seems scared or if they have an attractive appearance or outfit. However, he does not discriminate at all when it comes to other dogs.”
She further goes on to share, “Beauden is always keen to say hi and have a play, whether the other dog is keen or not. He always has people say how cute he is and try to pet him. Usually, he gets close enough to pet and quickly ducks away from them to chase another dog.”
Rochelle was relocating to Auckland due to the COVID-19 situation. She says, “Sadly we had to leave quickly at the beginning of COVID before New Zealand went into lockdown. There were no flights to bring Beauden home with us. He has been staying with good friends of ours who own one of Beauden’s best fur pals. They’ve been having an amazing time, but we are dying to be reunited with him as life isn’t the same without him.”
Based on the recommendation of a friend, Rochelle reached out to Petraveller to help her relocate Beauden from Brisbane to Auckland.
Pet travel in COVID times is a challenge, but Petraveller relocated Beauden with ease and he is extremely happy to be reunited with his human parents finally. Thank you, Rochelle, for trusting us with your four-legged lad and allowing us to help you in these trying times. We wish you good luck and many fun adventures with Beauden in New Zealand.
