Bliss and Syrus

Petraveller helped pet dad Syrus relocate his beautiful Siberian Husky Bliss from Brisbane to Auckland. Syrus speaks about his pet and her importance in his family. He also explains why he chose Petraveller for the pet relocation.

About seven years ago, Bliss became a part of the Waitere family. She was born on 20th August 2013 in Mapleton on the Sunshine Coast of Queensland, Australia. Syrus recollects, “After her initial weaning off period, I drove up to Sunshine Coast to pick up Bliss for my son to have a little fur sister and add to our growing family.”

Syrus describes Bliss as a very playful dog. He says fondly, “She gets overly excited when meeting new people. She will lick you to death if given the opportunity. She has no interest in barking unless a fellow doggy instigates her to bark.”

The Waitere family were moving back home to Auckland, New Zealand, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Syrus says, “Leaving my girl behind was never an option and I’m prepared to pay whatever needs to be paid to return her to me here in New Zealand with her family.”

Based on a friend’s recommendation, Syrus reached out to Petraveller to assist him with the international pet relocation from Brisbane to Auckland.
