Charming German Shepherd Bruno was born to a dog that Helena-Maria adopted. Helena-Maria says, “Bruno has been with us from day one. He insisted on staying with us and became a family member.”

Helena-Maria talks about her pet’s unique personality. She says proudly, “Bruno is a well-behaved dog. He is well-trained and obedient and is very clean and calm. Bruno is fine with people, other dogs and animals.” Helena-Maria laughs and adds, “Bruno treats chickens and wallabies with respect but tries to chase cats.”

Helena-Maria was moving to Sofia, Bulgaria and couldn’t imagine relocating without her four-legged family member Bruno. Helena-Maria has some experience in travelling with pets. She shares, “I have transported a dog was from Suva, Fiji to Hobart before when I was a lecturer at the University of South Pacific. A stray dog, Max, adopted me, and I took him home with me.”
