Cassie and Debora

“Cassie is a part of our family.”

Debora recently travelled with her family pet Cassie from Sydney to Sao Paulo with Petraveller. Debora talks about Cassie’s significance in her life and why she used Petraveller for her pet’s international move to Brazil.

The Cardoso family adopted a Pomeranian Cassie and made her a part of their family. Debora shares, “When we decided to adopt a fur baby, I was in a low phase in my life. I believe Cassie came to save my life. Now we have a new baby, and Cassie is the big sister.”

Debora and Cassie share an incredible bond. She says, “Cassie is very dependent; she follows us everywhere. If we leave home without her, when we come back, she gets very excited, and we have to calm her down.” Debora adds, “Cassie loves humans. She is very friendly but is not social with dogs. We got her during the lockdown and couldn’t get her at a puppy school.”

The Cardoso family were heading back home to Sao Paulo, Brazil. Debora says, “We are staying in Brazil for a year, and leaving Cassie behind was never an option. She is a part of our family.”

Debora decided to engage the services of an experienced pet transport company to help relocate her pet safely to Sao Paulo. She began her hunt for an IPATA-member pet transport agency and came across a few companies. After receiving a few quotes and doing her research, Debora reached out to Petraveller to help relocate Cassie from Australia to Brazil. Debora says, “Petraveller had great reviews.”

We are happy to say that Cassie had a stress-free journey and made it to Sao Paulo in good health. She is now busy exploring her new home in Brazil.
