“Chloe is my best mate.”
Kelly and her beautiful Domestic Longhair cat, Chloe travelled to Auckland with Petraveller. Kelly speaks about Chloe and tells us what led her to Petraveller for Chloe’s pet transport.
Kelly adopted Chloe when she was twelve weeks old from her landlord, who also happened to be a vet. Kelly says warmly, “Chloe helped me after losing my mum tragically two and a half year ago. She’s my best mate.”
Chloe is more medium-haired than a long-haired cat, with a right blue eye and left green eye. Kelly says, “She loves her people i.e. myself and my fiancé Jon, and is friendly and playful with us. She takes a while to get used to new surroundings and new people. She deals better with gentle females than abrupt males or loud people.”
After working in Australia for the last six years, Kelly decided to return home to Auckland, New Zealand. She says, “It feels like this is the right time to go back and try and find a home for us there. I miss the New Zealand weather and people.” Leaving Chloe behind was not an option for Kelly as she had been with her through thick and thin.
Kelly started her search for an international pet relocation agency to help her with the pet travel. Like all pet parents, Kelly was worried about Chloe’s pet travel. Kelly says, “Petraveller came with the best recommendations from a family friend.”
Chloe made her long journey with great ease and is now well-settled in her new home. Thank you, Kelly, for trusting Petraveller for Chloe’s pet relocation. Here’s wishing you and Chloe incredible adventures out there in New Zealand.
