“Cassia has brightened up our lives.”

Here’s the relocation story of a Domestic Shorthair, Cassia, who is a huge chatterbox. Pet parent Camilla fondly talks about her pet and explains why she approached Petraveller to handle Cassia’s international pet travel to Italy.

Cassia is a two-year-old kitty full of energy and personality. Cassia joined Camilla’s family during the lockdown in 2020 when they decided to adopt her from a rescue centre. Camilla smiles and says, “Since the day she arrived, Cassia has brightened up our lives with her lovely presence.”

Describing Cassia’s vibrant personality, Camilla shares, “Cassia is a hunter, a wild adventurer soul with plenty of energy. At first, she is a bit shy with new people, but when she gets to know them, she becomes chatty and likes to tell them about her whole day.” Camilla adds, “Cassia loves cuddles, especially scratches on her belly and chin.”

Camilla was moving to Rome, Italy, as she desired to move closer to her family after the challenging Covid period. She says, “My partner was immediately enthusiastic about the idea of relocation. We discussed a lot about what would be the best option for Cassia as she is a very Australian cat who is used to going outside and playing in nature. Knowing that Cassia is a guard cat as she loves taking care of us and ensuring we are always safe, we decided to take her with us. Both our hearts and hers would be broken if we were apart. So here we are. Ready for a new adventure!”
