“Martha is a 100% ruler of our house.”

Petraveller assisted pet mum with the travel of her beloved cat Martha from Sydney to Auckland. Ashleigh talks affectionately about her four-legged family member and explains why she chose Petraveller.

Domestic Shorthair Martha became a part of Ashleigh’s family after Martha’s mother, Fred, was taken in as a stray. Ashleigh vividly remembers, “Fred gave birth in my room with me beside her, and Martha was the last born and the only black and white kitten. Since then, Martha has bonded to me and never left my side.”

Describing Martha’s personality, Ashleigh affectionately shares, “Martha is a very affectionate and chatty cat when it comes to me. She loves to have conversations with me and always wants to be close. However, with others, she can be a bit curious at first but warms up to them after a while.”

Back home in New Zealand before she moved toAustralia, Martha ruled the household, even teasing Ashleigh’s two big dogs. Ashleigh fondly recalls, “Martha used to tease my two big dogs and encourage them to play with her. She was 100% ruler of the house.”

Moving back to New Zealand was an important decision for Ashleigh, but leaving Martha behind was never an option.
