Pauline and her charming Domestic Shorthair Rose travelled from Melbourne to Paris with Petraveller. Pauline talks about the heart-warming bond she shares with her pet Rose and tells us why she used Petraveller for her Rose’s international pet relocation to France.

Rose joined Pauline’s family at the tender age of three months, instantly captivating them with her undeniable cuteness. Pauline says affectionately, “Rose is one of the cutest kitties I’ve ever met. She loves cuddles and playtime and always needs to be at the centre of our attention. However, Rose is quite shy with people she doesn’t know.” 

Describing Rose’s temperament, Pauline says, “Rose is sweet and cuddly most of the time, but can sometimes be cranky like a child, especially when we leave her at the cat boarding or if she feels uncomfortable and afraid. She is also stubborn, and you can’t have her do something she doesn’t want to!”

Rose’s attachment to her family is truly remarkable. Pauline shares, “Rose is extremely attached to her family. She needs to be constantly in the same room and hates it when we’re on the phone or reading. She will jump or scratch the walls to grab our attention or comes to chew the book.”

Pauline was relocating to Jordan for her new posting. As Rose is a cherished member of the family, Pauline made the decision to bring her along. However, due to the complexity of relocating Rose via cargo to Jordan, Pauline devised a thoughtful plan. She explains, “It is complicated to relocate Rose to Jordan as cargo but easy if she is with us in the cabin. In order to avoid her going through the stress of moving house, we decided to go with her to our home country France first, and leave her there with my parents for a few weeks and then bring her to Jordan with us when we are settled.”

When it came to selecting a pet transport company to partner with, Pauline reached out to various providers in Australia. However, Petraveller stood out as the most responsive to her needs.
