“Dali was my lockdown buddy.”

Nathan and his beautiful Domestic Shorthair Dali moved back home to Auckland with Petraveller. We had a quick word with Nathan, who spoke about Dali’s personality and why he chose Petraveller for the international pet relocation.

Adorable Dali got her forever home and Nathan got a lockdown buddy when he adopted Dali during the Covid-19 pandemic. Nathan shares, “I had just moved to Australia for work and soon found myself amidst the lockdown in Sydney. In need of a friend, I searched through adoption agencies and found a shy little kitten in a cage. Although there were other cats available that were much more friendly, I picked the lonely one in the cage as that best resembled my current situation. Dali was my lockdown buddy.”

Nathan talks about his pet’s personality. He says, “Dali is slow to warm up to new people, but after comfort sets, and it’s established that you are a friend and not a foe, she will be a lap cat.”

Nathan and Dali were returning to Auckland. He says, “My children, family, and friends are eager to be connected with their new fuzzy companion, and probably me too!”
