Frenzy and Darryl

Darryl adopted Domestic Long Hair cat Frenzy and gave her a forever home. Pet dad Darryl talks about Frenzy and why he chose Petraveller for her international pet transport to London.

Darryl found Frenzy advertised in the local classifieds. She was rescued by a lady who found her up her garden tree at seven weeks old. Darryl recollects, “We suspect she had wandered onto the neighbouring farm and was scared off the property by the farmer. Apparently Frenzy was petrified. The lady couldn’t keep her as she already had cats. When I saw the advert, I got in touch and took Frenzy into my home. It’s been eleven years now and we have been best friends ever since.”

Darryl describes Frenzy as very tolerant and patient. She loves lots of hugs and cuddles, but is very timid around new people. Darryl says proudly, “When we take her to the vet, the staff always comment on how well behaved she is.” He laughs and adds, “She also has a manic side and gets a sudden burst of energy. She runs around the house, darting between the chairs, under the table and runs in behind the telly, hence her name Frenzy. It’s quite funny to watch because you can see the wheels turning in her head and you know it’s coming, then she’s off!”

After living in Australia for ten years, Darryl was returning home to London, United Kingdom. “Leaving Frenzy behind isn’t even an option as she is a much-loved family member,” says Darryl.
