Beautiful Domestic Long Hair Izzy flew from Maroochydore to Auckland with Petraveller. Pet parent Sharon talks about the bond the family shares with Izzy and why she booked Petraveller for Izzy’s international pet relocation to Auckland.

About eleven years ago, Sharon and her family welcomed Izzy into their home when she was found as a kitten at the local rescue centre. 

Sharon speaks fondly of Izzy, “Izzy is a much-loved member of the family. She reminds us of Garfield. Izzy rules the house and teases our dog.” She laughs and continues, “Izzy has adopted our youngest son as her own and most days will pick up his teddy in her mouth and walk to the front door miaowing for him when it’s time for him to come home.” 

After living in Australia for fifteen years, Sharon and her family were moving back to Auckland, New Zealand. She says, “Sadly, we were unable to get citizenship due to our son’s intellectual disability. Izzy has been a part of the family for too long to even consider not taking her.”
