Kiki and Mirjana

Mirjana and her family pet Kiki recently travelled from Melbourne to Auckland with Petraveller. Mirjana talks about Kiki’s heart-warming personality and explains why she partnered with Petraveller for Kiki’s international pet transport to New Zealand.

The Janjic family brought Kiki home from a pet shop in Tauranga, New Zealand. Mirjana shares, “Our younger son chose her and named her Kiki, the name of his favourite brand of lollies.”

Mirjana goes on to share her pet’s interesting personality. She smiles and says, “Kiki is a very affectionate and sweet pet who sometimes behaves like a dog. My husband tells me that Kiki can sense some days when I am close to arriving home from work and waits by the window for me. She loves to eat and sit on my lap in the evening and cuddle. Kiki does not like being separated from us and requires extra attention and comfort to alleviate her anxiety.”

The Janjic family were moving to Auckland to be closer to their children. Mirjana couldn’t imagine leaving Kiki behind when the idea of relocation came up.
