Karen and her beloved pets, Kingsley, Tiger Lilly, and Tinkerbell, embarked on a journey from the sandy beaches of Australia to the lush green fields of the UK with Petraveller. Let’s dive into their heart-warming relocation story.

Karen’s loyal companion Kingsley is a rescue dog with a personality that sets him apart. Talking about Kingsley’s unique character, Karen says, “Kingsley believes he is a human and doesn’t like other dogs! He loves people and his cats. Kingsley is very intelligent, loves to be involved in everything human-related and will always try to please.” Despite Kingsley’s slight aversion to dogs, his affectionate and friendly nature shines through. One quirk to note is that he grumbles when his feet are touched, adding a touch of uniqueness to his personality.

Tiger Lilly is Karen’s diabetic senior feline. Karen shares, “Tiger Lilly has become quite mellow in her old age but will not hesitate to grumble or put you in your place if you displease her. Due to a medical condition, she has had all her teeth pulled out, but she manages perfectly well without them, including eating dry food, which she prefers.” Karen adds, “Tiger Lilly isn’t the most affectionate of cats; she can be quite standoffish. She tolerates Kingsley but actively dislikes Tinkerbell!”

On the other paw, Tinkerbell is Karen’s shy and delicate feline companion who finds solace in the presence of her brother, Kingsley. Karen smiles and says, “Tinkerbell is known to drool excessively when stressed and has been assessed by vets as a drama queen.” 

Karen chuckles and shares an amusing incident, “Tinkerbell was once rushed to the vets, screaming, with a potential emergency of unknown origin. Nearly $500 later, it was determined she didn’t like the smell of her brother because he had just returned from a vet’s visit.” Tinkerbell’s shy nature is balanced by her greediness and affection towards her human family.

Karen was relocating to London with her three pets. She states, “I would only have considered not relocating the pets if we believed this would be in their best interests.”

With her pet’s safety and comfort in mind, Karen researched and contacted multiple pet travel companies to understand the process. However, Petraveller stood out as the clear choice for Karen.
