“After reading through the reviews and the way the quote was presented, I felt comfortable with Petraveller.”
Kowhai and Tui, a Staffordshire Bull Terrier and a Koolie recently travelled from Brisbane to Auckland with Petraveller. Here’s their pet relocation story.
In January 2017, the Smiths adopted a Staffordshire Bull Terrier called Kowhai from the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (RSPCA). Proud dad Joshua says, “When we adopted her, she was eight months old and recovering from two broken back legs.” Soon after, Joshua adopted a Koolie named Tui through a rescue site. The Smiths wanted a second dog, not only for the family but to give Kowhai some company too.
Kowhai and Tui have unique personalities. Joshua says, “Kowhai is a people person. She will always take love and will constantly try to get between your legs. She’s the one that will chase a ball and play tug.”
Tui, on the other hand, doesn’t have the drive to please people. Joshua says, “She’s more independent and would rather play with other dogs than a ball. She loves food, but will also ignore it if she’s not happy.”
Joshua is relocating to his family farm back in Auckland and leaving his pets behind was never an option. He says, “Before we adopted Kowhai, we made sure there were no quarantine requirements because we didn’t want to put her through that.”
Joshua contacted five different pet travel companies before choosing Petraveller. He says, “Petraveller was priced in the middle, but was most economical because the blood tests were included in the cost. After reading through the reviews and the way the quote was presented, I felt comfortable with Petraveller.”
Thank you, Joshua, for trusting Petraveller to relocate your pets from Brisbane to Auckland. We wish your family all the best and hope Kowhai and Tui have great fun on the farm chasing bunnies!
