“Moose thinks he’s a lap dog.”

Petraveller flew lovely Labrador X German Shepherd Moose from Sydney to São Paulo. Kathryn talks about the comfort and companionship she has with her pet and why she partnered with Petraveller for Moose’s international pet travel to São Paulo.

Kathryn adopted Moose from a shelter in Houston, Texas, four years ago. Kathryn says, “Moose is a well-trained dog. He’s sweet and loyal to his family. Moose is a 39kg Labrador mix who thinks he’s a lap dog. He loves walks, meeting new people and snoozing on the lounge. Moose knows when to comfort a sick family member or get someone out of the house into the fresh air. He is more than a dog, he’s family!”

Kathryn adds, “I made a tough decision in 2020 to move across the world and couldn’t imagine doing so without my pup. Moose did well in the transition and during the plane rides and quarantine stays and has lived in Sydney for half his life.”

Kathryn and her husband were moving to São Paulo, Brazil. She says, “While living in Sydney, Moose and I met my partner during the lockdown. We have been married for more than a year, and it’s time to move our little family to Brazil, where my husband is from. I know many people can’t understand moving an animal across the world, but I know many people can. It doesn’t feel like a decision, it’s just part of the process.”

Kathryn was certain that she needed an experienced and trustworthy pet travel agency to help with her pet’s international relocation.
