“The care and attention that I have received from Petraveller was second to none.”
Emma and her cute Domestic Shorthair cat Mowgli travelled from Brisbane to London with Petraveller. Emma speaks about her pet and tells us why she was impressed with the international pet relocation experience.
Mowgli became a part of the Hatfield family three years ago. He was adopted from a family friend who could no longer look after him. Emma says, “I have grown up with cats, and they have always had a big place in my heart, a house doesn’t feel like a home without one! I wanted to adopt for some time, and while I usually prefer to rescue, Mowgli was in need of my help. As soon as I met him, I knew he was the one, well he chose me really!”
Emma adds, “My husband was a little unsure at first as he had always had dogs and never a cat, but soon enough he fell in love with Mowgli and dotes on him as much as me.”
Mowgli is a sweet-natured cat who loves to be outdoors. Emma says fondly, “His favourite thing to do is lie on his back and let you rub his belly. He spends more time on his back than anything else. He isn’t a lap cat, but he likes to be near us when we’re home, always in the same room as us or close by.”
Mowgli likes to play hide and seek and his favourite game is to spring on Emma and her husband unexpectedly. Emma says with a smile, “He likes to be involved when I practice yoga and will often sit or lie on my mat in the most awkward place possible!”
Mowgli is a content and happy kitty. Emma says affectionately, “He is always purring and loves his cuddles. He definitely knows how much he is loved!”
After living in Australia for seven years, the Hatfield family decided to move back to their home town London. “It was a hard decision, but we want to start a family and we both knew we’d prefer to do it with the support and nourishment of our families around us. We have loved our time here, it’s been a wonderful journey but now is the time for a new chapter and a new adventure,” says Emma.
She adds, “Mowgli doesn’t like to travel, so I was very nervous about his flight, but leaving him behind just wasn’t an option.”
Emma decided to seek assistance from a pet relocation company to organise her pet’s travel. After contacting a few companies, she chose Petraveller. Emma says, “I spoke to a few companies, but none came close in comparison. All my questions were answered with deeply thoughtful, clear and precise answers, and every time I’ve had a worry or concern, my nerves were settled instantly. The love and care you have for what you do is very obvious right from the start. I am extremely grateful to Petraveller for looking after my baby.”
Mowgli had a pleasant journey from Brisbane to London with Petraveller and is now busy exploring his new surroundings. Thank you, Emma, for trusting us with dear Mowgli’s pet transport. We wish the Hatfield family lots of happiness and many fun experiences with Mowgli in London!
