Ozzy and Alyne

“Ozzy is like our child, our little boy!” 

Petraveller flew cute Pomeranian Ozzy from Sydney to Sao Paulo. Pet mum Alyne talks about her pet and why she used Petraveller for Ozzy’s international pet transport to Brazil.

Ozzy became part of Alyne’s family in August 2020 when he was nine weeks old. Alyne shares, “I always dreamt of having a Pomeranian, and when Ozzy came to us, he brought happiness. He is like a child for us, our little boy!”

Alyne talks about Ozzy’s personality. She smiles and says, “Ozzy is a bit noisy, protective and anxious. He is very attached to me and sometimes barks at my husband when he comes close to me, but does not bite.” Alyne adds, “Ozzy gets stressed when I leave him at the vet for grooming. He cries and gets overwhelmed if I walk away. However, he calms down once I leave.”

Alyne and her husband were moving back home to Sao Paulo, Brazil. She says, “We came to Australia for work for two years. Ozzy joined our family here in Australia, and we are now returning with him.”

Alyne decided to hire an international pet transport company to organise Ozzy’s move to Brazil because she realised it was harder than she thought. She says, “I did not know pets could not travel in the cabin even if they are under 8kg as they are allowed in so many countries. However, we found out that it is not possible in Australia. I thought we would fly together in the cabin instead of sending Ozzy as cargo. This idea overwhelms me.”

Alyne started looking into pet travel options in Australia and reached out to a pet relocation company to help with Ozzy’s relocation. Unfortunately, the company was not flying pets to Brazil due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Alyne then stumbled upon Petraveller through an online search.
