“Rua is a playful puppy at heart.”
Here’s the relocation story of beautiful red-haired Australian Kelpie, Rua, who travelled from Sydney to Dublin with Petraveller. Pet mum Jamie chats about Rua and why she chose Petraveller for Rua’s international pet transport to Dublin.
Jamie brought Rua home from a family friend when Rua was twelve weeks old. Jamie smiles and shares, “Rua means red-haired in Gaelic. She is a playful puppy at heart and loves running rings around the other dogs at the local park.”
Rua has a lot of personality. Jamie smiles and says, “Rua is well socialised, and having grown up around cafes and breweries, she loves to position herself where she’ll get pats and attention. She loves a good scratch between her ears, likes to sleep and have a cuddle. Rua is not into toys and prefers running around and chasing sticks or balls but is not very good at bringing them back.”
Jamie continues to narrate, “Rua is more food orientated, especially with cooked chicken; she can smell that a mile off! Her favourite word is walkies. Rua does not like cats, as she was scratched on the face as a puppy and has held a mortal grudge with every cat since then.”
Jamie was heading back to her hometown in Dublin. She says, “We never considered leaving Rua behind, I don’t think we’d relocate if we couldn’t bring her.”
Relocating a beloved pet abroad is not always a simple process, there is a great deal of documentation and paperwork involved. Therefore, Jamie decided to get help from a professional pet transportation agency to handle all of Rua’s paperwork and travel arrangements. Jamie reached out to Petraveller to organise her pet’s international move from Sydney to Dublin based on her friend’s recommendations.
Rua had a pleasant flight and landed safely in Dublin. She is now busy exploring the new outdoors and getting used to the weather in Dublin. Thank you, Jamie, for trusting Petraveller with dear Rua. We wish you love, laughter and many pawesome adventures with Rua in Ireland.
