Pet mum Kate used Petraveller for the relocation of her pretty Staffordshire Terrier Rudy from Melbourne to Auckland. She talks about Rudy and her international pet travel experience with Petraveller.

Rudy has been a much-loved pet since she was three months old. Kate says affectionately, “When she was one, we had our first child and two years later our second. She is adored by both of our children, and anyone who meets her.”

Talking about her pooch’s nature, Kate shares, “Rudy loves to be loved and cuddled. She loves being a part of the family/pack and can be anxious in new surroundings, especially without her family. She does the sad face very well! Rudy isn’t driven by food like other dogs and does not eat as much when she is in unfamiliar surroundings.”

Kate was relocating back home to Auckland, New Zealand to be with her family. She says, “We have decided to move to New Zealand for six months because of the restrictions due to the Covid-19 pandemic.” Leaving her beloved Rudy behind didn’t cross her mind at all.

International pet travel has become extremely challenging due to the travel restrictions in place because of the global COVID-19 pandemic.
