Rudy and Madeleine

“Rudy is 100% a people lover.” 

The Jebson family recently moved with their family cat, Rudy, from Melbourne to Manchester with Petraveller. Madeleine talks about her pet’s loving nature and explains why she chose Petraveller for Rudy’s international pet relocation to Manchester.

Rudy and his brothers were rescued by Rescue Centre as kittens and nursed back to strength. Madeleine recollects, “The rescue centre contacted us in August 2020 as they were looking for a young family who had the time and patience to dedicate to Rudy as he is extremely affectionate and 100% a people lover.”

Madeleine and Rudy share an incredible bond. She says fondly, “Rudy follows us everywhere and wants to be involved in whatever we are doing, this includes taking a bath/shower, and he doesn’t care if he gets wet. He enjoys a good run around and is a huge fan of playtimes, especially if it involves a furry tail for him to chase. Rudy’s favourite way to pass the time is to sit in one of his window baskets and watch the birds outside and talk to everyone who walks by. He is not a lap cat with new people but loves attention and cuddles.”

The Jebson family were moving back home to Manchester to settle down in their new home and be around family. Leaving their furball Rudy behind was never an option for them.

Madeleine decided to hand over the pet relocation process to an experienced pet travel company and reached out to Petraveller to help move her pet cat to Manchester.
