Rudy, Flixton and Averne

Cats on a plane! This time, we had the opportunity to relocate two Domestic Short Hair cats, Rudy and Flixton to their new home in Cornwall, London. Get to know more about these cute furballs and their relocation story. Give it a read.

Averne Toop considers her cats, 14-year-old Rudy and 9-year-old Flixton, integral to her family. “Both the cats were inherited from our daughter as her living arrangements changed,” recalls Averne.

Like many cats,Rudy and Flixton tolerate each other but do not get on very well. Rudy, the older male, is friendlier than Flixton, but neither of them prefers to be in the company of strangers. They act nervous at least for the first time, but once barriers are down, they both tend to be very affectionate.

After spending 24 years in Australia, Averne and her furry friends decided to return home to the United Kingdom. Averne says, “Rudy and Flixton are part of the family so, of course, they are in our plans.”
