Seth and Chelsey

Chelsey and her handsome Domestic Shorthair Seth recently travelled back home to Auckland, New Zealand with Petraveller. Chelsey talks about the special bond that she shares with Seth and why she chose Petraveller for the international pet relocation.

Chelsey grew up in New Zealand surrounded by pets. When she moved to Melbourne, and started house sharing, she felt something missing in her life. She says, “I convinced my housemates to let me get Seth. When I saw him, he became my best friend straight away, and since the COVID-19 isolation and working from home, we’re joined at the hip now.”

Seth is a very cuddly and adventurous cat who loves head massages and chin scratches. Chelsey says fondly, “Before he came to me, he was an indoors cat, but now he explores all day. I keep him indoors at night because he can get a bit rowdy. Even when I take him to the vet, he just won’t stay on the bench; he will jump up on the window and want to go around the entire room looking at everything.”

Chelsey adds, “Seth loves to get under the covers, and likes to sit on my chest or lap. He is very good-natured and rarely bites unless I’m really annoying him.”

Chelsey was moving back home to Sunnyhills, Auckland and was taking her sweet boy Seth with her. Chelsey realised that pet travel during the COVID-19 pandemic is complicated, and decided to partner with Petraveller to help her with the move.
