Summer and Laura

“I love Summer so so much!”

Laura partnered with Petraveller to relocate her beautiful Golden Retriever Summer from Cairns to Chicago. Laura talks about the special bond she shares with Summer and explains why she used Petraveller for Summer’s international pet transport.

Laura was an au pair in Australia, and Summer belonged to her host family. Laura recalls, “The host family had quite a few kids, and at the time, Summer was very young. I was a dog person, and I took care of Summer most days, played with her and became very close. When it was my last day of work, my host mum told me to take Summer with me because she believed I was her mama. They didn’t have the time for her, but I did. I love Summer so much! I am very lucky.”

Laura speaks fondly about her pet. She says, “Summer is a gorgeous dog. She is very gentle, sassy and silly at times. Summer gets anxious when I am not around and doesn’t like when I leave her alone.”

Laura was heading back to her hometown in Chicago with her precious pet, Summer. She says, “I must relocate due to my visa being used up in Australia. I have looked at all possible options for me, and none of them has worked out. So, I am going back home to the US.”

Laura decided to seek assistance from a reputed international pet transport agency in Australia and contacted Petraveller to manage her pet’s international travel to Chicago. Laura says, “Petraveller has been the most attentive company for myself and Summer. They have taken into account my feelings, Summer’s reactions, our time limit, and most of all, everything going on with Covid at this time.
