“My son was more concerned about getting Tobias home safely than getting himself home.”
Elaine and her family moved from Melbourne back home to London with their cat Tobias. Elaine talks about her experience with the move.
Elaine’s son adopted Tobias when he was living in Australia. Tobias was a happy indoor cat living in a small apartment in the centre of Melbourne. When they decided to move to London, Elaine’s son was very distraught at the thought of leaving Tobias behind. Elaine laughs, “He was more concerned about getting Tobias home than getting himself home.”
Elaine started looking for a pet relocation service to take care of the move. Elaine says, “I reviewed different companies but Petraveller seemed the best fit for us. Petraveller proved to be the right choice as we were kept informed of Tobias’s well-being every step of the way.”
Tobias was a trooper during the flight and was very calm when the family picked him up at Heathrow, London. He slept on Elaine’s son’s knee all through the four-hour drive home in the North East. Elaine says, “After coming home, Tobias quickly realised that he had to get on with our four dogs and the easiest way to do this was to show them that he was in charge. Four scratched noses later, mission accomplished!”
Elaine was extremely satisfied that they chose Petraveller to fly Tobias. She says, “I would recommend Petraveller to anyone as I found the service first rate and the team were very patient with all of my queries.”
Tobias is now a complete country cat. He roams the fields around the Gibson house and brings them presents to show his appreciation. Elaine laughs, “Catching rabbits, mice, voles and pigeons for us is his specialty! Tobias thinks he’s the king of the house. Whatever we do for him, from treats to cuddles, we are rewarded with a grumpy face. He is the master of dirty looks!”
Thank you, Elaine, for trusting us with sweet Tobias.
