Wilson, Boo and Kingsley

Kingsley relocated from Melbourne to Auckland with his adorable Boxers, Wilson and Boo, to be close to his family. He talks about the companionship and comfort his pets bring to his life and tells us why he chose Petraveller for the international pet relocation.

Wilson came into Kingsley’s life when Kingsley was sixteen years old. Kingsley reminisces, “We picked Wilson up as a fourteen-week-old puppy. He is now a twelve-and-a-half-year-old man, and he still gets fits of energy. But he now loves the life of long naps and slow strolls. He has travelled around New Zealand and Australia with myself and my fiancé.” 

Boo joined Kingsley’s family when she was adopted, when she was one year old. She came from Tasmania, where she belonged to a family that couldn’t keep her anymore. Kingsley says, “We took a chance and flew Boo over to be a part of our family, and here we are, seven years later with the most beautiful dog. She has brought the most amount of joy and love into our lives.”

Wilson has a beautiful, big, warm, gentle heart with a big personality. Kingsley laughs and says, “He loves meeting new people, especially girls, he’s a big charmer. Wilson is more human than a dog, sometimes he understands English too well, and I know that he listens to every conversation. He will always give us his opinion with a woof here and there.” He continues, “Wilson likes to ride in the front seat with his paw out the window. He is my first child, my best friend, and I love him more than words can describe.”

Boo, on the other hand, is the most gentle and loveable dog you will ever meet. Kingsley says fondly, “She is a typical Boxer, extremely goofy, very playful and silly. She has a love for balls, whether it is a tennis ball or basketball, she’s always got them in her mouth. Boo is a good soccer player, I must add.” He continues, “As active as she is, she’s also a very lazy girl sometimes and is happiest when she is sleeping on my lap.”

Kingsley was moving back to Auckland, New Zealand and was taking his fur babies with him. He says, “We are originally from New Zealand, and all of our family is back there. We are so excited and ready to move back home to be with our families again and settle down.”
