“Alfie has a heart of gold.”
Petraveller helped Ariane to relocate her adorable Ragdoll Alfie from Melbourne to Chicago. Ariane talks about the special bond she shares with her pet and tells us why she partnered with Petraveller for Alfie’s international relocation to Chicago.
Alfie became a part of Ariane’s life in 2018 when he was eight weeks old. Ariane shares, “My mum surprised me with Alfie one day when I returned home from work. He is a seal point pure breed Ragdoll with a sensitive stomach and is my first pet as an adult.”
Ariane shares an incredible bond with her cat. She says, “Alfie was given to me, and I believe he has saved my life. He is extremely co-dependent and refuses to be left alone in any room. Alfie always greets me at the front door when I come home.” Ariane adds, “Alfie does not like his tail being touched; he’s very sensitive about it. He is a very anxious cat but has a heart of gold.”
Ariane was relocating to Chicago. “I am going to study in the United States, and I couldn’t bear the thought of leaving my baby behind.”
Relocating a pet abroad requires a lot of planning for a smooth relocation. Every country has its own pet entry and pet exit rules that sometimes change depending on the country you are travelling from. Thus, Ariane decided to hire professional pet transporters to organise Alfie’s journey so she wouldn’t have to worry about a thing.
Ariane started searching for a reliable and trustworthy pet relocation agency in Australia to relocate Alfie safely to the United States. Ariane contacted many pet transport companies in Australia before choosing Petraveller. She did not believe the other companies were a good fit for Alfie. Ariane says, “I believe Petraveller to be a responsible and safe organisation who have been extremely professional when it came to the safe relocation of my cat.”
Alfie had an incredible journey and is now well-settled in his new home. Thank you, Ariane, for trusting Petraveller with beloved Alfie’s relocation. We wish you the best and big hugs to sweet Alfie!
