Analee, Banksy and Louise

Two adorable felines, Analee and Banksy, recently relocated from Melbourne to Los Angeles with Petraveller. Pet mum Louise talks affectionately about her fur babies and tells us why she chose Petraveller for the international pet relocation. 

Analee, a rescue kitten, was given a new lease of life when Louise adopted her from a shelter in Los Angeles in 2009. Louise says, “Analee made the trip from Los Angeles to Sydney in 2014. She’s getting older now and doesn’t eat a lot. Analee is the primary lap cat in our household and spends as much time as she can sitting on my lap.”

Banksy, on the other hand, is a teenager and is very active. He is three years old and was bought from a breeder in Karuah, New South Wales. Banksy is an odd mix of Manx and Persian. Louise says, “Banksy talks a lot and demands a lot. He was spoiled as a kitten by our Swedish exchange student and seems to think he’s a dog. He follows us around the house and hates to be alone.”

She adds, “Banksy is extra playful and loves to run around the house. He also eats quite a bit since he’s still a teenager. Unlike Analee, he doesn’t want to sit on your lap, but he does insist on sleeping between us at night.”

The Woo family were returning home to Los Angeles, USA. Louise says, “We came to Australia due to family obligations as my husband is Aussie. Now we are returning home due to family needs. We both have elderly parents who need us to do things with the family business.”

Louise had no intention of using a pet transporter to help with the relocation since she had done it herself in 2014. But pet transport rules have changed since then, and she needed to use a pet travel agent to assist her with the move back home. Louise says, “We decided to use Petraveller because they had good reviews from other users.”
