Bella and Rachel

Cat mum Rachel used Petraveller to relocate her beautiful Russian Blue kitty Bella from Melbourne to Vancouver. She talks about Bella’s personality and why she partnered with Petraveller for the international pet relocation.

Bella was given to Rachel by a vet. Rachel recalls, “Bella came to us the year our first child was born. Now we have three kids, ages nine, ten and eleven. They all miss Bella very much.”

Rachel laughs and shares her pet’s quirks, “Bella sleeps a lot, her favourite place is being on my husband’s belly when he’s sitting down.” She adds, “Bella is so patient and tolerant with the children. She shows her displeasure very subtly at first if she doesn’t like you. Even if she’s angry and swats, it’s never with claws. She loves to sleep with people or hang out with them outside.”

The Colvin family were moving back home to Vancouver, Canada, for work and to be closer to their family. Rachel says, “Leaving behind Bella was never an option.”
