“Petraveller was extremely friendly, helpful and quick in replying to messages.”
Pet travel can be quite stressful, especially when you are dealing with pets who suffer from separation anxiety and are nervous travellers. Here’s a story of a Domestic Shorthair cat named Coco and a Cavoodle named Roxy who relocated from Melbourne to Auckland with Petraveller.
The Wadds family gave new life to Coco when they adopted her when she was nine weeks old. Suzanne says, “Coco was a rescue kitten who had to have a second operation after her desexing operation because her siblings interfered with her stitches. She came to us after her operation and has been with us ever since.”
Roxy was also adopted when she was nine weeks old. Suzanne says, “After always having big dogs, we decided to downsize when we got Roxy. She has changed all of our lives for the better (as with every dog we have had). She’s the most incredible best friend.”
Describing Coco’s personality, Suzanne says, “She is very timid, likes her alone time but loves to be brushed when she eats. Coco does not like the car so will probably cry a little in transport. I think she will be scared through the process but it will all be worth it to be together again.”
Roxy, on the other hand, thrives on attention. She loves cuddles and soft words and a comfy place to lie down. Suzanne smiles and says, “She’s got us all wrapped around her little paw.”
The Wadds family were moving back home to Auckland, New Zealand. Suzanne explains, “The plan was to relocate the family to New Zealand as my husband found work there. But due to border closures because of Covid-19, our relocation plans were accelerated by three months. We decided to leave Melbourne before borders closed and left the city in four days. Chaos! The worst part through it all was being told that the animals could not fly with us. Leaving them behind has never been an option. We are desperate to have them with us ASAP!
Suzanne decided to choose an accredited pet transport company to relocate her adorable fur babies to Auckland. After doing some due diligence, she chose Petraveller for the relocation. Suzanne says, “Petraveller was extremely friendly, helpful and quick in replying to messages.”
We are happy to say that Coco and Roxy had a pleasant flight and were happily reunited with their human parents in New Zealand. Suzanne and her family were overjoyed to have the fur babies back with them. She says, “Despite the setbacks, Petraveller handled everything calmly and quickly, always kept me up to date and supported me through the whole process. I’m amazed at how well they are post travel, especially Roxy who is usually very anxious. I think the care Petraveller showed them kept them as relaxed as possible.”
Thank you, Suzanne, for giving us an opportunity to relocate your beloved pets. Best wishes on the move and big hugs to sweet Coco and Roxy!
