“Frank is like my child.”
Kayla booked Petraveller to relocate her beloved domestic shorthair cat Frank from Melbourne to Los Angeles. Here’s their international pet relocation story.
Frank was adopted by Kayla when he was two months old. He is an inquisitive cat who is also afraid of a lot of things. Kayla says, “He doesn’t like men and is usually a bit better around women. He’s very attached to me and meows at night if I’m not there and follows me around the house.”
Kayla was heading back home to Los Angeles, USA because of the Covid-19 pandemic. She says, “I’m American, and I lost my job and therefore my visa because of the pandemic and I had to return home. Frank is like my child, I would never leave him behind.”
Kayla began searching for a reliable international pet transport company to help her relocate Frank. Since the whole world was reeling under the COVID-19 crisis, it was not easy for Kayla to find a pet travel partner to help her move Frank to Los Angeles. Flights were being cancelled constantly, and it was uncertain if Frank could fly to the United States.
Kayla reached out to many different companies before zeroing on Petraveller. She says, “Petraveller was the only company that got in touch with me. A lot of the other companies just hung up on me for even enquiring about the pet travel. I was nervous about Frank flying, but Petraveller has so many good reviews which made me feel better.”
We are delighted to say that despite the travel hurdles during these unpredictable times, Frank reached his destination safely. Kayla was happy with her decision to partner with Ptraveller. She says, “Moving Frank from Australia to the United States during the pandemic was very stressful but Petraveller made it so much smoother than I had hoped. They were great keeping me up to date on flights as travel restrictions changed and really eased my worries.”
Thank you, Kayla, for your confidence in Petraveller for your furry boy Frank’s relocation. We wish you good luck and fun time with Frank out in L.A. All the best on the move, and stay safe!
