“The interest and care shown by Petraveller is much greater than the other companies.”
Samuel travelled with handsome Domestic Shorthair Freddie from Sydney to Berlin with Petraveller. Samuel talks about his pet and explains why he chose Petraveller for Freddie’s international pet travel to Berlin.
Freddie was adopted from an animal rescue organisation. Samuel smiles as he remembers, “He was being fostered at the time, and was brought over to our apartment to see how he adapted. We fell in love with Freddie right away even though he spent the first two days hiding under our housemate’s bed.”
Samuel describes Freddie as sweet and affectionate. Samuel says, “Freddie is never aggressive and is quite timid around new people and cats. He hides for the first day or two when he meets other cats (even in his own home). However, he is becoming less timid as he gets older.”
Samuel was relocating to Berlin for work. He says, “Leaving Freddie permanently in Australia with a family member would have been heart-breaking for us; it would have been considered as an absolute last resort. We are fortunate that he is young and will be able to tolerate the long journey to Europe.”
Samuel decided to reach out to an international pet relocation agency to help with Freddie’s travel to Berlin and contacted Petraveller to manage the relocation. Samuel says, “The interest and care shown by Petraveller has been much greater than the other companies we were speaking with. Petraveller provided details about how Freddie would be transported, which was very reassuring. Also, they have been more flexible with his final vet check in order to reduce time in transit, which was very important for us.”
Freddie had a safe flight to Berlin and is now busy getting used to his German life. Thank you, Samuel, for choosing Petraveller for beloved Freddie’s international relocation. Best wishes on the move and big hugs to sweet Freddie!
