“Gucio is an adventurous boy, and Tadzio sleeps 24/7.”
Katarzyna decided to move back home to Warsaw with her gorgeous cats, Gucio and Tadzio because she missed her family during the Covid-19 pandemic. Katarzyna talks fondly about her pet cats and why she used Petraveller for their international relocation to Poland.
The Ciuk family adopted Gucio four years ago, when he was six weeks old from a friend. Katarzyna smiles as she recalls, “From the very beginning, Gucio has always been a very playful boy. He fell in love with my husband and cuddles with him all the time while I had the job of feeding him.”
Gucio has a lot of personality. Katarzyna smiles and says, “Gucio is an adventurous boy who loves being outside, playing with cat toys and getting cuddles from his daddy. Gucio is afraid of our eighteen-month-old daughter as she screams from excitement when she sees him. Gucio is not very trusty but cuddles only with people he knows. He needs his space and doesn’t like it when someone grabs him by his tummy. Gucio bites or scratches when he is stressed.”
Katarzyna rescued Tadzio from her neighbours in 2019. Katarzyna shares, “The neighbour’s did not look after Tadzio, and he started coming to our garden. Soon Tadzio started to trust me and now he’s more my cat than my husband’s. Although Tadzio and Gucio are two males, they love each other.”
Katarzyna speaks about Tadzio’s easy-going personality. She chuckles and says, “Tadzio is a very cuddly boy who can sleep 24/7 and loves his food. He is a baby and needs human attention all the time. Tadzio likes playing with Gucio and is more like Gucio’s shadow, which is very cute. He is also very patient with our daughter.” Katarzyna continues, “Tadzio loves his food, especially wet, as sometimes he has a problem with chewing.”
The Ciuk family were flying to their homeland in Warsaw, Poland. Katarzyna says, “We are returning home to Warsaw as I miss my family, especially during Covid as I can’t visit them as often.”
Katarzyna decided to work with an international pet relocation company to move her cats from Adelaide to Warsaw. She reached out to a different pet relocation agency initially but was disappointed because she didn’t receive a response from them. Katarzyna then contacted Petraveller to help her relocate her cats. Katarzyna says, “I received an amazing service from Petraveller right from the first phone call itself. I received an email with a quote which was very quick and surprising. Petraveller was very helpful with organising my cats’ trip to Poland. I appreciate your great service very much.”
Gucio and Tadzio made their journey to Warsaw effortlessly and are now busy enjoying their new home. Thank you, Katarzyna, for trusting Petraveller with your adorable cats. We hope you have a wonderful time with your family and Gucio and Tadzio in Poland.
