July and Stanley

“July is a gentle sweetheart.”

Stanley travelled with his gorgeous Domestic Shorthair, July, from Sydney to Hong Kong with Petraveller. He talks about his pet and explains why he partnered with Petraveller for July’s international relocation.

Stanley became a pet dad to July when he adopted her from the RSPCA and took her home forever. July is a two-year-old tortoiseshell Domestic Shorthair kitty. Stanley shares, “July is an indoor cat and a retired stray. She is timid and loving by nature. July is a gentle sweetheart unless provoked. She is not accustomed to other animals and will fight back.” Stanley adds, “July loves to be petted on her head and enjoys chin scratches. However, she doesn’t like to be petted on her behind or tummy.”

Speaking about July’s health, Stanley says, “July has breathing issues, and she needs to use a dental formula to reduce tar build-up in her mouth.”

Stanley was moving to Hong Kong and as July is part of Stanley’s life, it didn’t cross his mind to leave her behind.

Moving a pet to a foreign country can be a complicated process for pet parents who are travelling with their pets for the first time.
