Dirk and his three pets, Martha, Luna and Dash, relocated from Sydney to Wellington with Petraveller. Dirk talks about his pets and explains why he chose to go with Petraveller.
Dirk bought Martha the Labrador Retriever from a breeder approximately two years ago, as his kids were very keen on having a dog for a long time. Dash and Luna, the two Ragdoll cats, were also bought from a breeder about four years ago as a gift for his kids. Dirk says, “They are brother and sister cats for my brother and sister kids.”
Martha is a lovable dog who loves wiggling all the time. Dirk laughs and says, “She’s a bit of a lick monster. She has a big growl, but is super gentle and friendly with everyone.”
Talking about Dash, the cat, he says, “He’s a bit of a scamp. He meows a lot, and runs fast when he wants to get outside when he’s not supposed to. As he’s getting older, he’s becoming fonder of pats.”
Luna, the kitty cat, is a shy one. Dirk says, “She loves hiding under the bed and then making lots of noise at 2 am to be let out of the room. Recently, she was shaved to remove the mats in her coat, and the shave made her look funny.”
The McLeish family were moving to Wellington for work. Dirk searched online for an accredited pet transport agency to help them with the pet relocation. He says, “I got quotes from another pet travel agency but liked the positive reviews that Petraveller had on Google.”
