Marzipan and Sandrine

Sandrine gave gorgeous Domestic Shorthair Marzipan a new home by adopting her. Sandrine talks about her pet’s personality and why she used Petraveller for Marzipan’s international relocation to Zurich. 

Marzipan became a part of Sandrine’s life nine years ago. Sandrine shares, “We met Marzipan at a vet, someone didn’t want her anymore. So, we adopted her and she has been with us ever since. Marzipan has developed a great relationship with me.”

Sandrine talks about her pet’s beautiful personality. She says fondly, “Marzipan is a sweet cat and very affectionate. She’s never bitten or scratched anyone as she’s shy and calm. Marzipan sleeps a lot and sometimes runs all over the flat.” Sandrine adds, “Marzipan developed a chronic renal disease last year, but it is perfectly under control now and hasn’t worsened for the last year.”

Sandrine and her husband were moving to Zurich, Switzerland. She says, “My husband is going to study, and I will continue freelancing there.” Leaving their beloved pet behind was unimaginable for Sandrine.
