Maya, Cielo and Dimitra

Dimitra used Petraveller to relocate her adorable pets Maya and Cielo from Sydney to Athens. She talks about her pets and explains why she partnered with Petraveller for Maya and Cielo’s international pet travel to Greece.

Beautiful Pomeranian Maya became a part of Dimitra’s family when Maya was two months old. Dimitra shares, “We decided to bring Maya home because we couldn’t live without a dog. It was a good decision because we had a lot of time to train and play with her through the Covid lockdown.”

Dimitra rescued handsome Domestic Long Hair Cielo when he was three months old and brought him home. Dimitra says, “Cielo was the first pet we had in Australia.”

Discussing Maya’s personality, Dimitra says fondly, “Maya is a very happy, clever and friendly dog. She loves to play with other dogs and is friendly and sweet with people. We can’t think of ourselves without Maya. She is our little fur baby.” 

Cielo, on the other hand, has a very good character and is also friendly with people. Dimitra says affectionately, “Cielo is our first fur baby, and we love him so much. He likes to sleep all day and loves his cuddles most of all.”

Dimitra was heading back home to Athens, Greece. She says, “We never thought about leaving our babies behind.”

International pet travel has become challenging due to the global Covid-19 pandemic.
