Mochi, Dumpling and Huong

“Mochi is friendly and Dumpling is reserved.” 

Huong and her adorable Welsh Corgis, Mochi and Dumpling, moved back home from Melbourne to Ho Chi Minh City. She talks about her pets and why she hired Petraveller for Mochi and Dumpling’s international pet travel to Vietnam.

Huong brought home two cute Welsh Corgis, Mochi and Dumpling, when they were two months old and made them a part of her family. Mochi and Dumpling are very friendly doggos. Huong shares, “Mochi gets excited when she sees people and barks to say hello to her new friends. She is very energetic and likes playing and running. She likes playing with people but also plays alone with her toys.”

Huong adds, “Mochi is very picky about food. Except for treats and chicken, she doesn’t really like food. When Mochi was little, she got very sick. Her stomach is easily upset when she eats something strange. Mochi eats only after Dumpling finishes his food as he tries to steal hers.”

On the other hand, Dumpling is a very naughty doggo. Huong explains, “Dumpling is still like a kid. He always needs my attention and gets jealous of Mochi if I play with her. However, he is a bit more reserved when he sees strangers. He doesn’t know or care about what is happening in the world. Dumpling has a big appetite and eats a lot, but he does not like playing and moving unless he’s taken for a walk. He would rather lie down and sleep most of the time.”

Huong was bidding farewell to Australia and returning with her pets to her hometown in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. “Mochi and Dumpling have to relocate with me because I’m returning home permanently, and I don’t want to leave them behind for anyone else to take care of them,” says Huong.
