“Newton is a gourmet.”

Handsome Newton is five-year-old ginger male who was rescued when he was three years old in a refuge. Pet mum Justine smiles and says, “Newton is the coolest cat. He is always nice and asks for cuddles when he is not sleeping. Newton was shy when he arrived in the family, but with patience and love, he became friendly with everybody. He acts like a little dog and follows me everywhere. He also responds to Mimi because when I adopted him, we were at my parents’ house for a while, and my mum called him that. I tried to fix it, but it didn’t work.”

Justine talks about her pet’s playful personality. She says, “Newton can become crazy if you play with him with a ball of paper or a shoelace. He loves cuddles and kisses and can sometimes yell at you if he wants some. Newton is not aggressive like other cats. Whenever you play with him, he is careful not to hurt you.”

Justine adds, “Newton loves treats and fish. But he is a gourmet, he does not eat every fish or treat. It wasn’t easy at the beginning to find things that he liked. Unfortunately, we had to remove most of his teeth, so now he can only eat wet food.”

Justine was moving home to France to be with family. She says, “I am going back to France for good. Newton is going to Barcelona because we have family there and my parents live in France, two hours away from Barcelona. It is easier and faster for them to collect Newton from Barcelona than in Paris and bring him home.”
