“Pancho has me and my partner wrapped around his paw.”
Domestic Shorthair Pancho got a forever home when Aleksandra adopted him from the RSPCA. We had a chat with Aleksandra about Pancho and why she chose Petraveller for the international pet transport to Toronto. Here’s what she had to say.
Pancho got a new life when Aleksandra adopted him from the RSPCA when he was less than a year and took him home forever.
Aleksandra talks about Pancho’s personality and says, “He is a weirdo who knows what he likes. He has me, my partner and almost anyone he deems worthy wrapped around his paw. So much so that he will sit near his food bowl and watch you till you stop what you are doing, and go scratch his back while he eats.”
Aleksandra adds, “He enjoys a good game of tag and loves to sleep. Since our dog’s passing, he is a bit more nervous about new people in his space. But we are finding ways to keep him relaxed.”
Pancho is an anxious cat and sometimes pees when acting out. Aleksandra says, “We use calming treats and Feliway to calm him.”
After living in Australia for eight years, Aleksandra was moving to Toronto, Canada. “I’m Canadian and have finally convinced my Aussie partner it’s time to move to Canada. We held off because his dog was getting on in age and didn’t think she would make the trip. We lost her a year ago and are now ready for a new adventure,” says Aleksandra.
Since Pancho is an anxious kitty, pet mum Aleksandra wanted him to have a stress-free and safe journey to Toronto. She decided to hand over his relocation to an experienced pet transport company who are experts in handling international pet relocations. She says, “I emailed and called many companies as we were desperate to move Pancho. Of all the people who responded, Petraveller’s rates were reasonable. When I called or emailed, Petraveller always made me feel at ease at a time where nothing was certain.”
We are glad to say that despite the unpredictable COVID-19 situation, Petraveller were able to transport Pancho safely to Toronto. Thank you, Aleksandra, for giving Petraveller the opportunity to transport dear Pancho in these trying times. We wish you good luck with your new adventure and lots of love and laughter with Pancho!
