“Priss can be quite vocal if she wants attention.”
Domestic Shorthair kitty Priss and her human mom Nicky recently travelled from Launceston to Miami with Petraveller. Nicky talks about Priss and shares her international pet travel experience with Petraveller.
Nicky got Priss as a gift about sixteen years ago. Nicky says, “Priss has been an only pet in the household for all that time. She is not used to being around children or other pets.”
Talking about pet’s quirks, Nicky says, “Priss can be quite vocal if she wants attention. She likes to be wherever we are and is a lap warmer if we sit in a chair. She doesn’t like to be picked up and fidgets to get away from us.”
Nicky was moving to Miami, USA for her retirement. She says, “I wouldn’t consider rehoming or putting her down as Priss is too old to expect anyone else to take her on. She is in great health for her age, so there was no option but to relocate with her."
Relocating a pet overseas is not a simple process as it is time-consuming and requires a lot of patience. Nicky decided to hand over her pet's relocation to a specialised pet transport agency to make it simpler for her. She received quotes from many companies, but finally, chose Petraveller to manage her cat’s journey. Nicky says, “Petraveller wasn’t the cheapest, but I was won over by their immediate follow-up and response to my emails.”
Priss made it safely to Miami and is enjoying her new home. Nicky is very happy with the pet travel experience. She says, “I appreciate the care and effort Petraveller took to relocate Priss and I will certainly recommend Petraveller to anyone relocating their pets.”
Thank you, Nicky, for entrusting us with your gorgeous kitty. We wish you happiness and lots of cuddles to sweet Priss.
