Rama and Sharon

Sharon and her furry boy Rama recently relocated from Melbourne to Palmerston North with Petraveller. She speaks to us about Rama and shares her experience using Petraveller.

Sharon has had Rama since 2005; he is named after a tiger they met at Dream World. Rama accompanied Sharon when she moved from New Zealand to Australia in 2007. She says, “Rama is more than just a cat; he is like a child. He is very loving and affectionate towards me.”

Rama loves being cuddled. Sharon says, “Rama enjoys cuddling with me. He is affectionate towards others only after he gets to know them. I am sure he thinks that he is the boss!”

Sharon was moving back to New Zealand, and was definitely taking Rama along. She says, “I would never consider leaving Rama behind. He is one of the family.”

Sharon began her search for pet relocation agencies to assist her with Rama’s pet travel to New Zealand. She was looking for an agency that was professional and caring, with a zero-harm policy. Sharon was concerned about Rama’s flight to New Zealand, given that he does not like travelling. She says, “I chose Petraveller because they were very helpful. Rama made the journey to Palmerston North very well and is now settled in his new home. Sharon says, “Rama is doing absolutely great; he has been outside a couple of times on lead. He sits by the window and gazes outside. We are going to build him an outside fenced area so he can get fresh air when he chooses.”
