“Shio purrs like a motorboat.”
It was a classic case of love at first sight for Xin Ru when she first placed her eyes on adorable Shio. Read to know more about charming Shio and her international pet relocation story from Adelaide to Singapore.
Xin Ru adopted Shio from the Cat Adoption Foundation last year as an impulse decision. Xin Ru shares, “I did not intend to adopt any cat initially, but I fell in love with Shio when I first saw her. She was the shyest cat at the adoption drive, shivering alone in one corner. But when I held her, she clung to me like she was afraid to let go.”
Shio is a very affectionate and cuddly kitty. Xin Ru talks about her pet with great affection, she says, “Shio purrs like a motorboat and loves head kisses. She is playful and curious and loves exploring new places and bird watching.”
Like most cats, Shio is shy around strangers. Xin Ru explains, “When new people come and visit our residence, Shio often runs away to hide since she’s very shy. However, she is also a curious cat and will eventually approach from her hiding spot and peek out at strangers from around the staircase or door. Her little head popping out from wherever she’s hiding is so endearing.”
Xin Ru was moving to her hometown in Singapore for work. She says, “Leaving Shio behind was never an option for me. To me, a pet is a lifetime commitment, and I would never abandon Shio.”
Xin Ru decided to seek help from professional pet transporters who are experts in handling international pet relocations. Xin Ru contacted several pet travel companies before she decided to go ahead with Petraveller. Xin Ru explains the reason for partnering with Petraveller: “I went with Petraveller due to the cost and its good reputation, and also I saw that Petraveller was recommended on Reddit.”
We are glad that Shio had a smooth journey and made it to her new home in good health. Thank you, Xin Ru, for choosing Petraveller for precious Shio’s international relocation. We wish you a beautiful life ahead with darling Shio by your side.
