“Tabitha has been the apple of our eyes.”
Brave Domestic Shorthair, Tabitha travelled with Petraveller from Melbourne to Dublin. Sadhbh talks about Tabitha’s significance in her life and why she partnered with Petraveller for the international pet relocation.
Sadhbh adopted Tabitha in July 2019 and made her a part of their family. Sadhbh fondly says, “She has been the apple of our eyes ever since.”
Sadhbh adoringly refers to Tabitha as an older lady. She smiles and says, “Tabitha is very chilled out and loves to sleep all day, apart from her zoomies around 8 pm. She likes to always be in the same room as us, and if she wakes up and can’t see us, she cries until we call out to her to let her know where we are.”
After living in Melbourne for three-and-a-half years, Sadhbh was relocating back home to Dublin, Ireland. She says, “We found it difficult being so far away from the rest of our family, especially during the isolation of social distancing during COVID-19. Tabitha was a huge comfort to us as she kept us company and provided lots of cuddles. We truly feel like she made such a huge positive impact on our mental health. Tabitha is currently staying with our friend Alex as we have already relocated to Ireland.”
Relocating a pet to Ireland is quite a complicated process, all the documentation must be accurate for a smooth transit. Sadhbh decided to take up the services of an experienced pet transport agency to look into everything and reunite Tabitha with her human parents. Sadhbh got in touch with Petraveller to help relocate her precious cat Tabitha to Ireland.
Explaining why she reached out to Petraveller, Sadhbh says, “Petraveller had good reviews and included all items in their quote, compared to other companies where it seemed that there would be additional costs.”
Tabitha was a brave girl and made her long journey safely and is now happily reunited with her human family. Thank you, Sadhbh, for trusting Petraveller with your darling Tabitha. We wish you happiness and lots of cuddles to cute Tabitha!
