“Fify is like a family member.”
Jenny and her Domestic Shorthair Fify relocated from Melbourne to Chengdu with Petraveller. Jenny describes her cat and tells us why she booked Petraveller’s services.
Jenny adopted Fify from GAWS, a pet shelter, two years ago. She recalls, “At that time, she was two years old and had just given birth to four kitties. She and her babies were sent to the pet shelter together. She was shy, very slim and because she was relatively old nobody wanted her. So we brought her home.”
Fify is a quiet and shy ginger cat. Jenny says affectionately, “She is shy and always stays in the backyard, although she was described as an indoor cat when we adopted her. She does not let me hug her, but wants me to pet her all the time. Fify sleeps with me every night.”
Fify is very quirky and knows exactly what she wants. Jenny says, “She does not like to be on camera and seems to understand the function of a mobile phone. It is very difficult to take a picture with her. I don’t have any pictures of us together as she does not let me hug her.”
Jenny was relocating to Chengdu, China and when asked about her pet’s relocation, she says, “I really want to have Fify with me as she is like a family member. I cannot imagine leaving her behind.”
Jenny looked around for a suitable pet travel agency who could help her with Fify’s relocation and reached out to Petraveller after an online search.
Fify had a comfortable journey to her new home in Chengdu, China. We thank you, Jenny, for trusting us with your adorable pet for her relocation from Melbourne to China. We wish you luck and hope you manage to get a selfie with Fify one day!
