Arianna gave charming Domestic Long Hair Maya a new home when she adopted her. Arianna chats about Maya and why she chose Petraveller for Maya’s international pet travel to Milan.

Arianna made Maya a part of her family when she adopted her in 2012. Arianna shares, “Maya lived in our one-bedroom apartment in Sydney for eight years before travelling with us to Cairns and Darwin.” 

Maya is a very independent cat who has lived indoors for most of her life. Arianna says, “Maya is very shy and likes to be touched and petted by us. However, she doesn’t like to be held for too long. Maya eats twice a day but is not obsessed with food or treats.”

After living in Australia for ten years, Arianna and her family were moving back to their hometown in Milan, Italy. She says, “We just had a baby and would like to raise him close to our families.” Leaving Maya behind was never an option for Arianna.
