“Patsy is the chief cockroach population manager.”
Here’s the purrfect travel story of a cheeky Domestic Shorthair, Patsy, who is the chief cockroach population manager at the Sangster household. Read to know more about Patsy as she makes her journey from Gold Coast to Geneva with Petraveller.
Lucy adopted Patsy from the RSPCA in 2020 and took her home forever. Lucy recalls, “I have always had cats at home, and my roommate had a cat and a dog at the time. I went looking for kittens, as I thought a kitten would integrate better with the older cat in the house through rescue organisations, and I found Patsy.”
Describing Patsy’s personality, Lucy says, “Patsy is cheeky and too intelligent for her own good sometimes. She can open windows and cupboards and recently managed to start a small fire while trying to get into a lizard’s vivarium.” Lucy chuckles and adds, “Patsy is the chief cockroach population manager and is very food motivated. When feeling particularly cheeky, she attacks and unrolls the toilet paper, an old unforgotten kitten habit. She is also a little tart for head rubs.”
Due to family reasons, Lucy was relocating to Geneva. Leaving Patsy behind was not an option for Lucy, so she decided to take her to Switzerland.
Determined to find a reliable and caring pet transportation service, Lucy reached out to several relocation companies in Australia. However, she found Petraveller to be the standout choice. Lucy explains why she chose Petraveller, “I contacted a few companies, but Petraveller was very responsive, with good reviews and reasonable rates.”
With Petraveller’s assistance, Patsy landed in Geneva safely, ready to begin a new chapter of life with Lucy. Thank you, Lucy, for trusting Petraveller with your dear pet. Petraveller wishes you a beautiful time ahead filled with love, laughter and many more entertaining escapades with your cheeky companion Patsy.
